Orange Lane Studios has a history stretching back over thirty years. Drew Lenman and Mike Connell, the founding partners originally formed Lenman Connell Commercial Photography, a partnership that became known for its high standard of work and superior service.

During that time Orange Lane Studios was created to provide and foster free lance photography and the Lenman Connell partnership was part of that. In recent years Lenman Connell Commercial Photography and Orange Lane Studios have become one and the same.

Today Drew and Mike are recognised Masters of Photography by AIPP. Orange Lane Studios continues it’s tradition of providing a quality service that is second to none. “We have long believed that a commitment to continued improvement is essential in meeting our client’s needs”, say the partners.

With this in mind they have pioneered techniques in image manipulation before and after the advent of digital photography. The installation of a studio capable of accommodating everything up to and including automotive photography was necessary in answering all their clients demands.

With the use of the latest tools and technology, together with a combination of industry experience and expertise in lighting techniques, Drew and Mike (or Orange Lane Studios) believe they set the bench mark in high quality photography today.

In 1995 Drew Lenman was the first person to be awarded the Australian Digital Image Maker of the Year by the AIPP and in 2002 he was awarded Digital Image of the Year.

Mike Connell was also awarded as the Advertising Photographer of the year in 1998
